We require modest dress at all times. Our multi-cultural environment includes people from nations where various types of dress are considered ungodly or inappropriate. While you are here, please wear clothing that is:
Appropriate to your age and biological gender.
Not too tight, revealing, or provocative in presentation or in messaging.
Men and women may wear pants, trousers, capri-length pants, and knee-length shorts.
Women's dresses/skirts must be to or below the knee and shirts must cover your shoulders and midriff.
We reserve the right to ask for piercings to be removed or covered, except for ear piercings on women.
If you will be serving on our Service Crews, we recommend bringing grubby clothes to work in. For Sunday services, people from the nations wear their best. In their culture, it is considered disrespectful to wear grubby clothes to worship service. We encourage dressing for services in a manner worthy of a holy God.
What We Expect of Visitors, Volunteers, Guests, Crew, & Sojourners
Manifest International HUB is an equipping center for the Kingdom of God where people come to receive training for ministry. This is NOT a homeless shelter, a rehabilitation center, a hotel, or a free place to live/stay. Here is what we expect of everyone here:
Genuine and earnest pursuit of Jesus Christ and His Kingdom.
Willing and joyful service to God and one another.
Exemplary adherence to all HUB Policies.
Regular attendanceand participation in HUB gatherings, services, and activities.
Holy and honorable living, exemplary of the household of God.
Decent and appropriatelanguage.
Honor, deference, and service to others in preference of self.
Trusting God to as your Provider without soliciting for funds from others.
Cleanliness in your room and personal hygiene.
Financial Offerings as God guides you.
We are entirely faith-based and trust God for everything we do at the HUB. We appreciate your consideration in helping us to be good stewards of what God has given us and your generosity in contributing finances as God moves in your heart. When the Church of Acts honored God through their giving, God's power worked mightily among them! (Consider Acts 4:32-35.)
Equipping HUB - Ministry Disclosures
Everyone here is on a journey to becoming a fully trained servant for Jesus – including you. As a vital part of hands-on training, we encourage everyone to participate in various forms of ministry in our gatherings and sessions. We cannot know the theologies, beliefs, denominations, or backgrounds of all of our Guests and Visitors. Therefore:
Please be discerning and have grace for others who are growing in their gifts and callings.
Please be humble as you grow in your God-given gifts and be ready to ask forgiveness if you mistakenly ministers incorrectly to another person.
Please be submissive to the appointed leaders in each gathering or session as they seek to keep things moving in a way which is pleasing to God who does things decently and in order.
We believe that prophetic words are inspired by God but not equal to His written Word. Please test any prophetic words that you receive before applying them to your life or making any major life decisions. (See 1Thessalonians 5:20-21.)
It is not our intent to negate the authority of your current local pastor. Please honor them as you seek the Lord about any insights you may receive here at the HUB and before making any major life decisions.
God often moves powerfully in our services and this sometimes causes people to fall under the weight of His glory. We do not push people and we do not provide catchers.
Please help us to maintain purity by reporting to the Office or Manifest Leadership things which are problematic or indecent. We will do our best to address it swiftly, directly, and discreetly. Thank you.
Please report any unsanctioned groups or gatherings to the Office or Manifest Leadership. We will do our best to address it swiftly, directly, and discreetly. Thank you.
Thank you for your grace as we all learn and grow in our gifts and callings. Please pray and consult with the Lord about what you experience and receive both here and everywhere you go.
