We have a wonderful Crew of volunteers who minister to Jesus by offering their lives in service at the HUB. We believe that service is an absolutely essential element of training for greater ministry.
In 1Corinthians 4:1, the word used for “minister” means “under-rower.” This refers to servants who sat below the decks of ships to pull the oars and row in time with one another at their captain’s commands. In Ephesians 4:13, the word used to describe the Body of Christ attaining “fullness” is defined “like a ship fully manned with sailors.” Like sailors on a well-run ship, each of us has a unique and important role of service. We rely on one another as we seek to establish and maintain a dwelling place for God.
Together, we are one Crew. Our commander is Jesus. To God be all glory!
We expect Crew Member & Sojourner applicants to have spent some time volunteering at the HUB before submitting their application. All Crew Member & Sojourner applicants should be familiar with and committed to Manifest’s Approach and way of life at the HUB. Term – How Long? Manifest International is committed to walking with our Crew Members and Sojourners in their journey with Jesus. We seek to invest in their spiritual lives for the glory of God and are committed to helping them fulfill God’s purposes through the various stages of spiritual life and growth. We do not enter into this kind of commitment lightly. We expect this commitment to be mutual.
We seek to keep communication open through regular reviews of their practical service and spiritual growth. We are committed to doing this for as long as the Holy Spirit guides and aligns us.
Crew Membership, once approved, is perpetual for as long as the Lord leads us to serve together. Sojourners will be given a set time-frame and may renew as the Lord leads us to continue serving together.
